1. Our promise
- Your data is yours. We keep it only to run Degresh Finance for you.
- We never use your bookkeeping data or files to build features, train any model (AI included), or share them with anyone.
- Our staff can't open your books.
- We never sell data.
2. What your data is used for
Only for what you ask the app to do: storing entries, calculating balances and reports, showing them to space members according to their roles, producing exports, and sending service emails (verification, password resets, space invitations).
3. Staff can't open your books
The app has no staff or admin role that can enter a customer's space. The only way to see inside a space is to be a member of it, and only you (the space's Owner or Admins) can invite members.
The team that runs the servers does not browse customer data. If we ever need to touch your data to fix a problem you reported, we ask your permission first, unless the law requires otherwise.
4. What we do use
- Technical data that keeps the service running: error messages, response times and request counts, without the contents of your books.
- Security records such as sign-in sessions and the activity log, to protect your account and give each space an audit trail.
- Bookkeeping records and the audit log the law requires us to keep after you leave, used only for security, legal duties and resolving disputes, and then deleted.
- When the app looks up an exchange rate, the rate provider receives only the currency codes and the date. No personal data or bookkeeping figures are sent.
5. If this promise changes
This promise will never be loosened for data you have already stored. Any change is published here as a new version, announced in advance, and does not apply to you without your consent.
